Volunteer Events
Food Bank Dry Box Building
Join us to build dry food boxes for families.
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Volunteers Needed: 20

Family Bag Building Days
Help us build family bags!
Time: 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Where to Meet: Nissan
Food Bank Cold Box Building
Help pack cold food boxes with perishable items for families.
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Volunteers Needed: 15
Where to Meet: Food Bank
Delivery Day
Volunteers are needed to help load vehicles and support our delivery drivers.
Time: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Where to Meet: Nissan
Nissan Loaders:
- 2-hour increments
- 6 volunteers per shift
Food Bank Loaders:
- 2-hour increments
- 10 volunteers per shift
Delivery Drivers:
- 11:15 AM – 4:00 PM
- All-day sign-up
- 30 volunteers needed
Pick Up Day
Help families pick up their items at the Food Bank. Multiple 2-hour shifts available. We need 2 volunteers per shift.
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (2-hour increments)

Volunteer Requirements
Santa’s Helpers appreciate your interest in volunteering and helping the community. We do have special requirements that must be met and unfortunately some applicants that apply will not be eligible. Please take a few moments to review the below requirements before applying.
- No volunteer may have been convicted of a Felony.
We appreciate and applaud your rehabilitation efforts, currently we are not accepting applications for volunteers that have at any time been convicted of a Felony.
- No volunteer may have been convicted of a crime of theft or dishonesty.
If you have questions about if a type of conviction that may disqualify you, ask us here before you continue.
- No volunteer will be considered if you have been terminated or were told that you are ineligible from volunteering with Santa’s Helpers any time the past.
- Adult-to-child supervision is required based on age:
- Ages 1–7: One adult for every 2 children.
- Ages 8–15: One adult for every 5 children.
- Ages 16 and over: No adult required.
